Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By booking or tendering any shipment with SpeedShifts Courier, the shipper agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms form a binding agreement between the shipper and SpeedShifts Courier.

2. Consignment Note

The consignment note is non-transferable and acts as proof of contract. The shipper confirms they are the owner or authorized agent of the goods.

3. Shipper Responsibilities

The shipper must provide accurate shipment details, ensure proper packaging, and comply with all laws and regulations. SpeedShifts Courier may refuse unsafe or improperly packed shipments.

4. Inspection Rights

SpeedShifts Courier reserves the right to inspect any shipment for security, regulatory, or operational purposes.

5. Charges and Lien

SpeedShifts Courier may retain shipments until all charges, taxes, and duties are paid in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

SpeedShifts Courier’s liability for loss or damage is limited to the lowest of:

• PKR 100 per shipment (within Pakistan)
• Actual proven loss or damage
• Actual value of goods

7. Actual Value

Documents: Replacement or reproduction cost, whichever is lower.
Parcels: Replacement cost or fair market value, whichever is lower, not exceeding original cost plus 10%.

8. No Indirect Damages

SpeedShifts Courier is not responsible for indirect losses, including loss of profit or business interruption.

9. Force Majeure

SpeedShifts Courier is not liable for delays or losses caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, accidents, or government actions.

10. Claims Policy

Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery or return. Claims will not be processed unless all charges are paid. Records are kept for 30 days.

11. Prohibited Items

SpeedShifts Courier does not transport cash, jewelry, weapons, drugs, hazardous materials, animals, perishables, illegal or restricted items.

12. Insurance

Insurance can be arranged upon request and payment. Coverage is subject to insurer terms and excludes delays or indirect losses.

13. Billing Responsibility

If receiver or third party fails to pay, the shipper remains responsible for all charges.

14. Tax Responsibility

The shipper is responsible for tax compliance under Pakistani law.

15. Tax Exemption Declaration

Shippers claiming tax exemption accept full responsibility for any incorrect declarations and indemnify SpeedShifts Courier.

Important Notice

SpeedShifts Courier’s liability is limited. Customers are advised to purchase insurance for valuable shipments.

Pakistan Post Compliance

SpeedShifts Courier does not carry letters or postcards, as reserved by Pakistan Post Office Act, 1898.

Payment Terms

Invoices are payable within 2 working days. Services may be suspended after 15 days of non-payment. Late payments may incur a 0.1% daily penalty.
